We started as an extension of “Christ for the Nations”
Bible School in Timisoara, in 1991, and throughout the years gathered in
different locations for Bible studies, courses, seminars and institute courses.
We’ve been able to teach more than 150 students about God and His
kingdom.
God provided for a building of our own,
which was completed in the year of 1997, when we also moved into it to continue
the ministry. After a while a church was started, along with other activities we
were engaged in, such as visiting orphanages, elders’ homes, organizing youth
and children camps, serving in churches across the
countries.
We also started going to Bistrita and
Iasi on a basis a while ago, to start Bible schools there too. We’ve teached
there as well, and also had guests from other countries teach the Word of God to
people in villages nearby these cities.
As a church,
we meet each Sunday morning, with a prayer program following later on during
evening. Our church numbers about 150 registered members, of which about 40-50
come to church each week.
We’ve been ocasionally
involved in several projects that include church members as well as our people:
serving people on the street with hot coffee or tea during winter time, dramas,
evangelistic concerts and so on.
We also collaborate
with Dorcas Aid International, who supply us trimestrially with food and clothes
that we distribute to the poor families in the villages nearby the city of
Suceava (and not only).
The main project right now
is building a multi-functional facility on the camp site at Voronet, where we
usually do the summer camps for children. Please visit the gallery for pictures
and details.
